Awards
AWARDS AND FELLOWSHIP
All eligible Life Members/Associate Member (only PG Students) residing and practicing the
specialty in the state shall he entitled for any Award of the Association. For the awards
like
best papers, fellowship the chapter may constitute a committee from time to time.
Selection for Fellowship and Awards
A fellowship committee consisting of three members i.e. President,
Secretary and Immediate Past President shall decide Fellowship and Award., The Secretary of
Association should circulate information about all awards amongst all members by post in the
Ist circular of Association. The Ist circular must be circulated within two months from Last
Annual Conference. The application forms duly completed by desiring persons should reach the
Convenor of the Fellowship committee within one month from the date of circular. The
fellowship committee shall have the following guidelines in deciding the award for different
fellowship.
- 1. Post graduate qualification - No. of attempts in D. Ortho/No. of attempts is MS (Ortho)
- 2. Papers published in - State Chapter Journals, - I.O.A. Journal / other State Chapter Journal - International Journal
- 3. Papers presented in - Uttarnchal Chapter Conferences, - I.O.A. conferences / State / Zonal Conferences - International Conferences
- 4. Conferences attended, - Uttarnchal Chapter Conferences, - I.O.A. Conferences - International Conferences
- 5. Any other academic awards/activities
- 6. Experiences
12.3.2 Best Orthopaedic Club Award Criteria for Selecting best Orthopaedic Club Award No. of Scientific meetings held in a year 5 No. of Seminar/Workshop/Guest Lecture held in a year 5 No. of New Members enrolled in Uttarnchal Chapter I.O.A. 3 Any other activities connected with Orthopaedic allied services 2 Total 15
Arbitration
In case of any dispute which can not be satisfactory settled, the matter be settled by arbitration. Each party will appoint an arbitrator and arbitrators will appoint an umpire, only from Life Members of Association. The decision of the Umpire shall be final and binding on all parties
